Deco Silver Haze flooring beautifully crafted coloured floors created from an oak top layer which is lightly brushed to release the natural grain. Wood lye is then applied to bleach and colour the floors to create the deep lustred and distinctive oak tones and grain variations found in the collection.

A thick top layer of subtly textured rustic European oak is soaked in a Golden brown hue created with penetrating coats of UV hardened natural colour oils. The 5mm rustic oak top layer is rolled with steel brushes to take away the softer grain whilst following the contours of the natural grain, the result is an enhanced surface texture which becomes tactile underfoot and extremely durable to everyday scratches. The brushed surface is further enhanced and protected by UV cured coats of Danish Colour oil.
Twin or T-Bar profile joins the hardwood floor with other floor coverings of the same height.

The wider face of this rustic oak plank shows off the full grain of the tree and is smooth sanded and sealed with 6 coats of UV cured natural lacquer which protects the surface leaving it maintenance free but with the appearance of an oiled floor. Micro bevelled edges add clean lines to the rustic character filled oak board making it perfect for both traditional and modern interior design.

Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same – so the random lengths of this plank allow us to use the whole tree during production. ZB101 Frozen Umber has a thick European rustic oak surface which is brushed and textured so that subtle grey colour oils settle in the grain of this bevel edged, engineered herringbone wood flooring. Unlike traditional parquet blocks, the Deco Parquet range of floors are engineered with a thick oak top layer with bevelled edges bonded to a hardwood ply base, which means they can be bonded to any flat surface including over low energy underfloor heating systems. Their unique sizing means they can be installed in many different patterns. Also available in a matching plank, Deco Plank DC101.
