The 5 mm rustic oak top layer is rolled with steel brushes to take away the softer grain whilst following the contours of the natural grain, the result is an enhanced surface texture which becomes tactile underfoot and extremely durable to everyday scratches. Classic wide oak planks with bevelled edges are full of rustic charm and finished to a high specification using UV cured natural oil. Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same – so the random lengths of this plank allow us to use the whole tree during production. This means we don’t waste any of the precious timber, a saving that also allows V4 Approved retailers to offer a great value option for a great looking engineered oak floor.

This micro bevelled plank is classically proportioned to suit any interior space, milled from rustic grade oak which is lightly brushed to remove the soft grain from the top layer of the wood. This leaves a surface which is hard and more resistant to scratches. Coats of Danish oil are machine applied and and buffed into the textured surface, each coat is cured under a low voltage UV light. The result is a natural oiled stain resistant surface which allows the floor breathe and is simple to maintain.
