Rich coats of durable clear lacquer varnish create a soft satin sheen that makes this charming rustic oak plank shine. It’s thick European oak top layer is backed with durable hardwood multi-ply giving the finished floor the look and feel of a traditional solid wood installation.

Classic wide oak planks with bevelled edges are full of rustic charm and finished to a high specification using UV cured natural oil. Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same – so the random lengths of this plank allow us to use the whole tree during production. This means we don’t waste any of the precious timber, a saving that also allows V4 Approved retailers to offer a great value option for a great looking engineered oak floor.

A thick top layer of subtly textured rustic European oak is soaked in a Golden brown hue created with penetrating coats of UV hardened natural colour oils. The 5mm rustic oak top layer is rolled with steel brushes to take away the softer grain whilst following the contours of the natural grain, the result is an enhanced surface texture which becomes tactile underfoot and extremely durable to everyday scratches. The brushed surface is further enhanced and protected by UV cured coats of Danish Colour oil.
