The 5 mm rustic oak top layer is rolled with steel brushes to take away the softer grain whilst following the contours of the natural grain, the result is an enhanced surface texture which becomes tactile underfoot and extremely durable to everyday scratches. A thick top layer of subtly textured rustic European oak is soaked in a Golden brown hue created with penetrating coats of UV hardened natural colour oils. The brushed surface is further enhanced and protected by UV cured coats of Danish Colour oil.

A series of 6 steel brushes are applied to remove the soft grain from the top layer the rustic hardwood surface whilst sympathetically following the natural contours of the wide section of oak. The wear layer is then spray coated with coats of durable matt lacquer. The resulting plank is both wonderfully tactile and ultimately hardwearing, the rich, textured surface deflecting everyday wear and scratches. Also available in matching Herringbone.
Ramp profile is used for connecting your hardwood floor with lower surfaces (e.g. carpet, laminate or tile where the height difference between the two floors is greater than that met by using a Semi Ramp profile).

ZB108 Natural Oak is smooth planed and simply finished with coats of grain enriching natural oil. Unlike traditional parquet blocks, the Deco Parquet range of floors are engineered with a thick oak top layer with bevelled edges bonded to a hardwood ply base, which means they can be bonded to any flat surface including over low energy underfloor heating systems. Deco Frozen Umber flooring beautifully crafted coloured floors created from an oak top layer which is lightly brushed to release the natural grain. Wood lye is then applied to bleach and colour the floors to create the deep lustred and distinctive oak tones and grain variations found in the collection.
